Call Before You Dig

If you have a project that requires excavation, from building a new deck to planting trees- Call before you dig!

To request a locate of underground utilities, you must call 811 at least “2 Full Working Days” but not more than 20 calendar days prior to the start of your excavation.  

You can also go online to indiana811.org to request and underground line locate.

IUPPS will notify all utilities that have underground facilities in the area of the excavation. You will need the County and the Township as well as the street address and cross street for IUPPS to properly process your locate request.
