Rate-Time Of Use
TIME-OF-USE RATE RIDER FOR SCHEDULE 'R'
Available to all single phase or multi-phase users for all types of Cooperative approved off-peak electric usage.
The rate will be applicable for all approved ETS off-peak electric heat usage and other electric usage which can be disconnected during on-peak hours and measured through a separate meter. All other electric service will be at the Cooperative's applicable residential rate schedule.
All Off-Peak Usage at $0.06824 per kWh
For the months of April thru September (summer months), the off-peak kWh usage for purposes of this rate is defined as kWh consumption occurring between the hours of 9:00 p.m. to 11:00 a.m. (E.S.T.) every day.
For the months of October thru March (winter months), the off-peak kWh usage for purposes of this rate is defined as kWh consumption occurring between the hours of 9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. (E.S.T.) and 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (E.S.T.) every day.
The off-peak usage will be measured by watt-hour timer controlled meters preset to operate only during the off-peak hours. The meter and timer will be supplied by the utility and all other related equipment to be supplied by the customer.
POWER AND FUEL COST ADJUSTMENT CLAUSE
The above rates are subject to change in fuel cost charge and purchased power cost adjustment from Dubois REC’s power supplier in accordance with IC 8-1-13 et. seq.
The current Power Cost Adjustment (PCA) is $0.00035/kWh.
TERMINATION OF TIME-OF-USE RATE SCHEDULE
This rate schedule shall be immediately terminated for any of the following reasons:
- Any modification or change to consumers wiring which would permit the usage of electrical energy for operation of non approved appliances and/or other non-approved purposes; to be measured by the time-of-use meter.
- Failure to permit Cooperative personnel access to the premise for the purpose of control and wiring inspection.
- Any modification or unauthorized tampering with Cooperative equipment, meters or meter and equipment seals.
This schedule is subject to the standard utility rules and regulations and may be subject to customer contribution.
The member shall submit for approval in writing the specific loads to be connected to this off-peak rider.
